Webnames.ca is proud to be participating in the 2010 Canary Derby on September 25th to raise funds in support of early cancer detection and research through the Canary Foundation of Canada.
This year is our third annual Canary Derby and our team goal is to raise $15, 000.00 for the cause. We are looking to best our 2009 fundraising total of $13,000 and retain our status as top fundraiser!
Team Webnames.ca will be lead once again by our President Cybele Negris, who is also the Fundraising Chair and Lead Organizer for this year’s event. Cybele has been the top fundraiser for the previous two Canary Derbies. Cybele’s efforts organizing and fundraising in honour of her father’s courageous and ongoing battle with cancer has mobilized our team and motivated us to raise funds in honour of the cancer warriors we know and love.
